Sistema de Arquivos Distribuídos: Avaliação dos Volumes do GlusterFS em relação aos tipos de Workloads

Abstract


The increasing use of computers and a large amount of data generated by several applications, make necessary the storage improvement of such data. This is a challenge when is considered a processors higher growth speed regarding input and output storage devices. Therefore, the Distributed File Systems are an alternative to minimize this problem. This paper proposes a review of the most common Gluster Filesystem volumes about the workloads that are generated by the IOzone benchmark tool. Thus, is identified the behavior of the GlusterFS volumes in environments with the submitted workloads.
